This Week’s ‘The Chew’ On ABC Guests & Line-Up: Kellie Pickler, Howie Mandel, More

Spring has sprung at “The Chew.” Join the hosts MARCH 31-APRIL 4 for a week of delicious recipes bursting with flavor, Easter treats, and a Skype update from co-host Daphne Oz, who is still on maternity leave until late April. “Good Morning America’s” Ginger Zee will guest co-host on March 31 followed by Kellie Pickler on April 1. Chef Carla Hall whips up a dish from her new cookbook, Carla’s Comfort Foods: Favorite Dishes from Around the World.

Celebrating and exploring life through food, “The Chew” is an innovative and groundbreaking daytime series co-hosted by a dynamic group of engaging, fun, relatable experts in food, lifestyle, and entertaining. Produced by Gordon Elliott’s Chew Productions for the ABC Television Network, “The Chew” serves up everything food — from cooking and home entertaining to food trends, restaurants, holidays and more — all aimed at making life better, fuller and more fun. The show features celebrity chefs Mario Batali, Michael Symon, and Carla Hall, entertaining expert Clinton Kelly and health and wellness enthusiast Daphne Oz.

MONDAY, MARCH 31 – “SMALL PLATES, BIG TASTE” – guest co-host and meteorologist Ginger Zee (“Good Morning America”); a visit to Gotham West Market for tapas at El Colmado; Lisa Lillien (author, Hungry Girl) cooks with Michael Symon and talks about her new book.

TUESDAY, APRIL 1 – “COMFORT FOOD EXPRESS” – Kellie Pickler (“The Woman I Am”) is guest co-host; Carla Hall enlists Kellie Pickler’s help as she prepares a tasty dish from her new cookbook, Carla’s Comfort Foods: Favorite Dishes from Around the World.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 2 – “WACKY WEDNESDAY” – Howie Mandel (“Deal With It”) joins Michael Symon in the kitchen Clinton Kelly hosts a game of “Raiders of the Lost Fridge” with audience members and the winner will cook with Mario Batali.

THURSDAY, APRIL 3 – “BATTER UP!” – Mario Batali and Michael Symon make a baseball stadium favorite; Michael cooks a ballpark classic. “The Chew” travels to Savannah, Georgia to see the new Bunny Cupcakes at Back in the Day Bakery.

FRIDAY, APRIL 4 – “EXTRA VALUE FRIDAY: EASTER EXTRAVAGANZA”— A colorful visit to a jellybean factory in Fairfield, California; Mario Batali cooks a sumptuous and simple Easter feast, Carla Hall prepares a delicious dessert. Daphne Oz checks in on Skype with an update on motherhood and new daughter Philomena.
