This Week’s ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ Guests: Brooklyn Shows; Amy Schumer; David Letterman; Howard Stern

ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” returns to Brooklyn, New York, for five original shows starting tonight. Guests slated to appear include Billy Joel, David Letterman, Tracy Morgan, Amy Schumer and Howard Stern. Musical guests will include performances from LCD Soundsystem, Cardi B, Billy Joel and a special performance from the Tidal X show at Barclays Center.

“Jimmy Kimmel Live: Back to Brooklyn” will tape before a live audience from the Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Howard Gilman Opera House. This will be the third time Kimmel and his show have broadcast from BAM. Paul Shaffer, former bandleader on “Late Show with David Letterman,” is confirmed to sit in with the house band, Cleto and The Cletones, each night.

Tuesday, October 17: David Letterman; Paul Shaffer sitting in with Cleto and The Cletones

Wednesday, October 18: Radio Personality Howard Stern; Musical Guest Cardi B; Paul Shaffer sitting in with Cleto and The Cletones

Thursday, October 19: Musician Billy Joel; Comedian Tracy Morgan (“The Last O.G.”); Musical Performance by Billy Joel; Paul Shaffer sitting in with Cleto and The Cletones

Friday, October 20: Actor Woody Harrelson (“LBJ”); Paul Shaffer sitting in with Cleto and The Cletones

As of Feb. 17, 2014, “The Tonight Show” returned to its New York origins as “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” made its broadcast debut from Studio 6B in Rockefeller Center. Emmy Award- and Grammy Award-winning comedian Jimmy Fallon brings a high-tempo energy to the storied NBC franchise with his welcoming interview style, love of audience participation, spot-on impersonations and innovative sketches.

An American television institution for almost 60 years, “The Tonight Show” will continue to be a home to big-name celebrity guests and a stage for top musical and comedic talent. Taking a cue from his unforgettable predecessors, including hosts Johnny Carson and Jay Leno, Fallon will carry on the tradition that audiences know and love – kicking off every show with the iconic “Tonight Show” monologue. Known for his huge online presence, Fallon also brings along with him many of the popular segments, celebrity sketches and musical parodies that fans have grown to love on “Late Night,” including #Hashtags, Thank You Notes and Slow Jam the News.

The critically praised Grammy-winning group The Roots serves as “The Tonight Show” house band.
