‘The Toy Box’ Episode Guide (Oct. 29): Glow Flyer; Robomustache; Hybrid Creatures

“Episode 204” (10/29/17) – From light-up Frisbees and a camping trip board game to hybrid mythical creatures and more, amateur inventors enthusiastically present their toys to a panel of kid judges, on an all-new episode of ABC’s “The Toy Box,” airing SUNDAY, OCTOBER 29 (7:00-8:00 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network.

This week’s toy inventions include:

– Glow Flyer – a light-up Frisbee that changes colors when you play with it Inventors: Michael and Michael from Clifton Park, New York
– My Doll Room – a portable, collapsible dollhouse with different decorating options Inventors: Rory and Molly from Lakeville, Connecticut
– Robomustache – a collection of wooden robot craft kits Inventor: Charles from Asheboro, North Carolina
– Tournament of Towers – a competitive, point-driven tower building game Inventors: Donovan and Jeff from Los Angeles, California
– Hybrid Creatures – dolls that represent combinations of different animals and mythical creatures Inventor: Pamela from Pleasant Grove, Utah
– Camp Outrageous – an outdoorsy board game where players race to be the first to complete a campgrounds-inspired obstacle course Inventor: Thom from Chicago, Illinois
– Archipelagolf – a reimagined portable golf set in which a ball launcher is used instead of golf clubs Inventor: Doyle from Clovis, California

In each episode, passionate inventors who have poured their hearts and souls into their product present their toy concepts to a panel of the toughest judges in the industry – kids! The judges have the opportunity to play with the toy, give their feedback and determine who will move on to the next round. The winner from each episode will move on to the finale to compete for the grand prize: Their toy will be made by Mattel; sold exclusively at Toys”R”Us stores nationwide and Toysrus.com, joining last season’s winner, ArtSplash; and will receive a cash prize of $100,000.

This season, there will be a rotating panel of five kid judges per episode, featuring all new faces and perspectives, and one returning favorite, Noah Ritter (age 8). The judges also include Adi Ash (age 10), Paxton Booth (age 7), Sydney Mae Estrella (age 9), Kyle Lee (age 7), Joachim Powell (age 11), Gideon Reynolds (age 6), Emma Sobel (age 9), Madison Stevens (age 8) and Olivia Trujillo (age 12).

“The Toy Box” is from Mattel, Hudsun Media and Electus. Michael Rourke, Chris Grant, Drew Buckley, Richard Dickson, Catherine Balsam-Schwaber, Julia Pistor, Susan House and Hamilton South are executive producers.
