‘The Partner’ Episode Guide (March 21): The Candidates Begin Turning on Each Other

“Tripwires & Trapdoors” (03/21/17) – Marcus gets to know who the five remaining candidates really are in a series of character tests. First, they must create a marketing campaign to show who they are as a brand. Then, Marcus challenges their backbones during a complex investment assessment.

Marcus Lemonis, renowned investor, entrepreneur, and host of CNBC’s hit show “The Profit,” is searching for “The Partner” in an all-new CNBC series.

After investing more than $50 million of his own money in companies featured on “The Profit,” Lemonis is now ready to invest in “The Partner.” The five episode series follows Lemonis as he searches for the perfect partner to help him manage the fast-growing portfolio of businesses he’s acquired. Thousands of people hailing from all corners of the country applied for the opportunity to participate, but only ten were invited to Chicago to take part in the final interview process. In the end, one candidate will receive the opportunity of a lifetime: a half-million dollar contract, an equity stake, and the chance to help Lemonis manage his empire.

“The Partner” is produced by Marcus Lemonis Productions LLC and Machete Productions with Amber Mazzola and Marcus Lemonis as executive producers. Jim Ackerman and Luke Bauer are the executive producers for CNBC.
