‘The Middle’ Episode Guide (Oct. 17): Lexi’s Wealthy Parents Have Dinner With Mike and Frankie

“Meet the Parents” (10/17/17) – Frankie is stoked when Axl invites her and Mike to meet and have dinner with girlfriend Lexie’s rich parents, Tammy (Lisa Rinna) and Bennett. But Frankie is worried that their less then luxurious lifestyle may put a damper on their meeting.

Meanwhile, Brick is excited to be a part of the Sophomore Slammer fundraiser, in which fellow classmates fake arrest each other and friends come to pay money – which will go to charity – to bail them out. But Brick soon discovers that no matter how hard he tries, he just can’t get arrested, on “The Middle,” TUESDAY, OCTOBER 17 (8:00-8:30 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network.

Guest starring in this episode are Daniela Bobadilla as Lexie, Lisa Rinna as Tammy Brooks, Gregory Harrison as Bennett Brooks, Ally Young-Price as friend, Lauren Kennedy Hardy as kid, French Stewart as Principal Cameron, Conrad Bluth as football player, Micah Nelson as Aiden and Sean Summers as parking attendant.

“Meet the Parents” was written by Jana Hunter & Mitch Hunter and directed by Lee Shallat Chemel.

After almost a decade on the air, the current ninth season of ABC’s critically acclaimed fan-favorite series “The Middle” will be its final one. Two-time Emmy-winner Patricia Heaton stars in this warm and witty single-camera comedy about raising a family and lowering your expectations.

Middle-aged, middle class and living in the middle of the country in Orson, Indiana, Frankie Heck is a harried wife and mother of three who uses her wry wit and sense of humor to get her family through each day intact. Frankie works as a dental assistant, and her unflappable husband, Mike, is manager at the local quarry and her sardonic partner in the daily grind that is raising their average – yes, most definitely average – family.

“The Middle” stars Patricia Heaton as Frankie, Neil Flynn as Mike, Charlie McDermott as Axl, Eden Sher as Sue and Atticus Shaffer as Brick.
