‘The Librarians’ Episode Guide (Dec. 27): Prospero Renewed Magic Creates Havoc

“… And the Final Curtain” Season 2 Finale (12/27/15) – The Librarians discover that Prospero’s renewed magic is wreaking havoc with the technology of the world. He is recreating an idyllic forest utopia, whether we want one or not.

In order to stop him, Flynn and Baird must travel back to 1611, while the rest of the team battles Prospero in the present. Little do they realize that they can only defeat Prospero in each time by finding a way to work together – separated by five centuries.

The season 2 finale was directed by Marc Roskin. It was written by John Rogers & Paul Guyot.

TNT returns to the world of “The Librarians” with season 2 of the hit series. Based on TNT’s hit movie franchise, “The Librarians” centers on an ancient organization hidden beneath the Metropolitan Public Library dedicated to protecting an unknowing world from the secret, magical reality hidden all around.

Rebecca Romijn (“X-Men”), Christian Kane (TNT’s “Leverage,” “Angel”), Lindy Booth (“Dawn of the Dead,” “The Philanthropist”) and John Kim (“Neighbors,” “The Pacific”) star in the series as the newest protectors of the world’s mystical treasures, with Emmy (R) winner John Larroquette (“Night Court,” “Deception”) as their reluctant caretaker. Noah Wyle (“Falling Skies,” “ER”) recurs as Flynn Carsen, the role he played in TNT’s movie trilogy.

“The Librarians” finished its first season as basic cable’s #2 new series, behind TNT’s The Last Ship. The show reached an average of 11.4 million viewers per episode across TNT’s VOD, digital and mobile platforms. “The Librarians” is produced by Electric Entertainment, with executive producers Dean Devlin, John Rogers, Marc Roskin and Noah Wyle.
