GAME 7 – (3) BLACKHAWKS AT (2) BLUES – 8:30 P.M. ET ON NBCSN – SERIES TIED 3-3

The Blackhawks fought off elimination with a Game 5 win in double overtime in St. Louis, and followed that performance up with a 6-3 win in Game 6 in Chicago on Saturday night on NBC. Chicago trailed St. Louis 3-1 in the first period before rattling off five consecutive goals. Midseason acquisitions Andrew Ladd and Dale Weise both scored their first goals of the playoffs for Chicago. Five of the six games in this series have been decided by one goal, and nine of the last 12 playoff matchups between the Blackhawks and Blues have been one-goal games.

The Blackhawks defeated the Ducks in last year’s Western Conference Final in their last Game 7 matchup; the Blues have not won a Game 7 since 1999. The winner of Game 7 will go on to face the Dallas Stars in the second round.

GAME 6 – (1) DUCKS AT (WC1) PREDATORS – 8 P.M. ET ON CNBC – DUCKS LEAD 3-2

The Ducks have won three consecutive games to take a 3-2 series lead and have outscored the Predators 12-3 in Games 3-5, after dropping Games 1 and 2 in Anaheim. The Ducks won Game 5 by a score of 5-2, as five different skaters scored and Frederik Andersen made 27 saves in his third straight start. Nashville has never won a series or forced a Game 7 when trailing 3-2, with a 0-5 record in Game 6 when facing elimination.
