‘Stitchers’ Episode Guide (Aug. 7): A Pro Volleyball Player is Murdered

“Kill It Forward” (08/07/17) – A series of murders, including a professional volleyball player, lead the Stitchers team searching the darkest corners of the Internet. Meanwhile, Kirsten gives Maggie an ultimatum.

Elaine Hendrix guest stars in this episode. “Kill It Forward” was directed by Salli Richardson-Whitfield.

Recruited into a covert government agency to be “stitched” into the memories of the dead, Kirsten Clark is the perfect candidate to investigate murders and decipher mysteries that otherwise would have gone to the grave.

Kirsten’s parents developed the technology used in the Stitchers program and Kirsten continues to search for them and many long-overdue answers. During Kirsten’s short time in the Stitchers program, she has developed a strong bond with her co-workers, especially Cameron, a brilliant neuroscientist whose feelings for her run deeper than either of them could have imagined. This close-knit operation includes Linus, an earnest engineer and communications technician, and is headed by Maggie, a skilled veteran of covert operations. Kirsten’s roommate, Camille, also flexes her computer science skills to assist as well as LAPD Detective Quincy Fisher, who provides back-up and support for the team.

Beginning Monday, June 5, the third season picks up immediately from the dramatic cliffhanger finale where Kirsten Clark’s life lays in the balance as the Stitchers team works to bounce her back into the real world after she became trapped in a stitch in her attempt to find her mother. Fueled by his love for Kirsten, Cameron finds a way to bring her back to reality, but it could cost them their relationship. This season, Kirsten and the Stitchers team hack into the minds of the recently deceased to investigate diverse and unusual cases spanning from international relations to dark secrets within their own families. New relationships will develop while others will end, and the true purpose of the Stitchers program will finally be revealed.

“Stitchers” is executive produced by Jeffrey Alan Schechter (“Overruled!”), Jonathan Baruch and Rob Wolken. The series stars Emma Ishta as Kirsten Clark, Kyle Harris (“High Maintenance”) as Cameron Goodkin, Ritesh Rajan (“Jungle Book”) as Linus Ahluwalia, Salli Richardson-Whitfield (“Eureka,” “I Am Legend”) as Maggie Baptiste, Allison Scagliotti (“Warehouse 13”) as Camille Engelson, and Damon Dayoub (“NCIS”) as Detective Quincy Fisher.
