‘Steve Harvey Show’ Episode Guide (Oct. 5): Husband’s Comic Book Obsession

On today’s all-new episode of “Steve Harvey,” Steve sits down with a woman who has had it with her husband’s comic book obsession taking over both of their lives. Latasha says when her husband isn’t busy reading comic books, he’s drawing them.

Even worse, he’s even introduced comic book-inspired characters while they’re in the bedroom! While she says his hobby is fine in small doses, she feels her own interests are being ignored in the process of his personal enjoyment.

And if that wasn’t enough, he spends over $2,000 a year on his comic books. When Steve presents her husband, Robert, the chance to sell his comic book collection to fellow comic book aficionados, will he be willing to make the deal?

Next, Steve talks to a mother who has turned her hand-made goods into a multi-million dollar business using Etsy. Three Bird Nest owner Alicia Shaffer stops by to give at-home viewers tips and suggestions on how they can sell their products online.

And later, Steve updates viewers on the three boys who attended his Mentoring Camp in Dallas this past summer after their mothers appeared on the program last season to complain about their behaviors. Have their behaviors improved from the last time they were on the show?

“Steve Harvey” is a one-hour daytime show hosted by TV personality, comedian, radio show host and best-selling author, Steve Harvey. Each weekday in his new multi-topic show, Harvey talks to real people with real issues and bring his funny, fresh, insightful and common sense approach to everyday problems.

Drawing from his varied life experiences, Harvey entertains, informs and inspires, covering a vast range of relatable topics such as marriage, dating, finance, parenting, workplace issues, friendship and the daily dramas we face throughout our lives, all with his unique comedic spin.

“Steve Harvey” is coming off of a tremendously successful sophomore season, having won the Emmy for Outstanding Talk Show (Informative Category). “Steve Harvey” is up 29% in households from its debut season and currently is the fastest growing show in all of daytime, showing more growth last season than all other syndicated and network talk shows, game shows and court shows.

The daily show is produced by Endemol USA with Alex Duda, Steve Harvey and Rushion McDonald serving as executive producers and is distributed in national syndication by NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution. “Steve Harvey” is taped before a live studio audience at the state-of-the-art HD NBC 5 studios in downtown Chicago.
