‘Steve Harvey Show’ Episode Guide (April 12): A Couple At Political Odds Postpones Their Wedding

On today’s all-new episode of “Steve Harvey,” Steve sits down with couple Aaron and Tori, who have decided to push back the date of their wedding because of their political differences. Aaron supports Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and Tori is siding with Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders. Can Steve help bring them back together?

Plus, Steve brings in Republican political strategist Margaret Hoover — the great granddaughter of President Herbert Hoover — and her husband, John Avlon, an Independent and a Daily Beast political analyst to discuss tips on how they can move past their political partisanship.

Next, Steve talks to married couple Damon and Zawadi about their troubled 17-year-old son, Samaj, who has been making bad decisions left and right and is hanging out with the wrong crowd. Samaj smokes marijuana constantly and his reckless behavior has led him to being expelled from two different schools. When Steve teams up with Project Storm and has Samaj spend the night in jail, will this turn around his behavior?

And later, Steve talks to Sebastien De La Cruz, who made headlines earlier this year for singing the National Anthem dressed in a traditional Mexican mariachi outfit. Sebastien opens up about some of the criticism that was leveled and him and talks about how it only made him stronger.

“Steve Harvey” is a one-hour daytime show hosted by TV personality, comedian, radio show host and best-selling author, Steve Harvey. Each weekday in his new multi-topic show, Harvey talks to real people with real issues and bring his funny, fresh, insightful and common sense approach to everyday problems.

Drawing from his varied life experiences, Harvey entertains, informs and inspires, covering a vast range of relatable topics such as marriage, dating, finance, parenting, workplace issues, friendship and the daily dramas we face throughout our lives, all with his unique comedic spin.

“Steve Harvey” is coming off of a tremendously successful sophomore season, having won the Emmy for Outstanding Talk Show (Informative Category). “Steve Harvey” is up 29% in households from its debut season and currently is the fastest growing show in all of daytime, showing more growth last season than all other syndicated and network talk shows, game shows and court shows.

The daily show is produced by Endemol USA with Alex Duda, Steve Harvey and Rushion McDonald serving as executive producers and is distributed in national syndication by NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution. “Steve Harvey” is taped before a live studio audience at the state-of-the-art HD NBC 5 studios in downtown Chicago.
