“Academy Week #3” (07/31/17) – “The Academy” comes to an end after a challenging callbacks round that featured tough choreography and incredible performances from dancers who gave it their all. Find out which finalists are one step closer to making it into the Top 10 to compete in the LIVE shows starting next week in an all-new episode of “So You Think You Can Dance” airing Monday, July 31 (8:00-9:01 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

The 14th season of the hit dance competition series, “So You Think You Can Dance,” kicks off Monday, June 12 on FOX. This season, highly skilled dancers between the ages of 18-30 will showcase their talents in various dance styles, including contemporary, tap, hip-hop, ballroom, animation, breaking, and more. The Top 10 dancers will be paired up with All-Stars who will guide them throughout the competition as they vie for America’s votes and the title of America’s Favorite Dancer. Mary Murphy will return as judge, and the new season will also feature returning host Cat Deeley and judge Nigel Lythgoe.

During the audition rounds, the most talented dancers will compete in front of the judges for a coveted spot at “The Academy” callback rounds in Los Angeles. At the end of “The Academy” callback rounds, each of this season’s 10 All-Stars will choose one dancer to move on to the SYTYCD stage and become part of this season’s Top 10. Once the competition begins, the Top 10 will compete LIVE each week for America’s votes in different dance styles, working with world-renowned choreographers and dancing alongside the All-Stars. Millions of fans will vote to determine which contestants will be eliminated each week until the winner is named America’s Favorite Dancer on the season finale.
