‘Scorpion’ Episode Guide (May 1): Toby and Happy Race to the Altar

“Something Burrowed, Something Blew” (05/01/17) – Team Scorpion help Toby and Happy race to the altar to say “I Do” after a simple job extinguishing a tunnel fire becomes catastrophic, on “Scorpion,” Monday, May 1 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Guest starring in this episode are Kevin Weisman (Ray), Lindsay Pulsipher (Michelle), Tony Forsmark (Chief), and Rockmund Dunbar (Scotty).

“Something Burrowed, Something Blew” was written by Aadrita Mukerji & Nick Santora. It was directed by Christine Moore.

The CBS drama series “Scorpion,” inspired by a true story, is a high-octane drama about eccentric genius Walter O’Brien and his team of brilliant misfits, who are the last line of defense against complex, high-tech threats of the modern age.

As Homeland Security’s new think tank, O’Brien’s Team Scorpion includes Toby Curtis an expert behaviorist who can read anyone; Happy Quinn, a mechanical prodigy; and Sylvester Dodd, a statistics guru. Pooling their extensive technological knowledge to solve mind-boggling predicaments amazes federal agent Cabe Gallo, who shares a harrowing history with O’Brien.

However, while this socially awkward group is comfortable with one another’s humor and quirks, life outside their circle confounds them, so they rely on Paige Dineen, who has a young, gifted son, Ralph, to translate the world for them. At last, these quirky masterminds have found the perfect job: a place where they can apply their exceptional brainpower to solve the nation’s crises while also helping one another learn how to fit in.

“Scorpion” stars Elyes Gabel (Walter O’Brien), Robert Patrick (Cabe Gallo), Katharine McPhee (Paige Dineen), Jadyn Wong (Happy Quinn), Ari Stidham (Sylvester Dodd), Eddie Kaye Thomas (Toby Curtis), and Riley B. Smith (Ralph Dineen).

“Scorpion” is produced by CBS Television Studios. It’s executive produced by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Nick Santora, Nicholas Wootton, Justin Lin, Heather Kadin, Scooter Braun and Walter O’Brien.
