‘Rookie Blue’ Episode Guide (Aug. 14): Severely Beaten Man Found

“Moving Day” (08/14/14) – The officers of 15 Division have been assigned a thankless task: “helping” tenants move out of a condemned subsidized-housing complex and into a neighboring building.

While checking on an empty unit, Andy and Chloe find a man who has been tortured and beaten unconscious, leading to the discovery of a ruthless criminal operation. Meanwhile, Nick and Gail arrest a pair of teenage siblings with secrets of their own, forcing Nick to divulge some of the darker truths of his own past, on “Rookie Blue,” THURSDAY, AUGUST 14 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

“Moving Day” was written by Katrina Saville and directed by Teresa Hannigan.

“Rookie Blue” stars Missy Peregrym (“Heroes,””Reaper”) as Andy McNally, Gregory Smith (“Everwood”) as Dov Epstein, Charlotte Sullivan (“The Kennedys”) as Gail Peck, Enuka Okuma (“24”) as Traci Nash, Travis Milne (“Leslie, My Name is Evil”) as Chris Diaz, Peter Mooney (“Camelot,” ABC’s Family/Global’s “Falcon Beach”) as Nick Collins, Matt Gordon (“The Eleventh Hour”) as Oliver Shaw, Ben Bass (“The Eleventh Hour”) as Sam Swarek, Priscilla Faia (“Eleventh Victim,” “Psych”) as Chloe Price, Oliver Becker (“Rent-a-Goalie”) as Inspector John Jarvis and Matthew Owen Murray (Degrassi: The Next Generation) as Duncan Moore.

Tassie Cameron (“Flashpoint”), Ilana Frank (“The Eleventh Hour,” “Would Be Kings”), David Wellington (“The Eleventh Hour,” “Would Be Kings”), Russ Cochrane and John Morayniss are executive producers. “Rookie Blue” is a production of ICF Films and leading independent studio Entertainment One (eOne), who also distributes the series internationally.

In keeping with last season’s theme of “change,” 15 Division welcomes two new characters who shake up the familiar dynamic. Inspector John Jarvis (Oliver Becker, Rent-A-Goalie) strolls into 15 Division with a serious agenda. He wants the real story: is this a division full of heroes or a minefield full of screw-ups?

Seamlessly flipping from pleasant to menacing, Inspector Jarvis is a political spin-master of epic proportions. He’s out to shake things up and make his mark. Also new to the team is 15 Division’s brand-new rookie, Duncan Moore aka “Selfie” (Matthew Owen Murray, Degrassi: The Next Generation). He is the very picture of a fresh-faced millennial: confident, eager to impress, and excellent at pointing out mistakes, particularly other people’s. But when Duncan struggles to fit into the group at 15, the officers soon have their hands full with this challenging and well-connected new recruit.

Rookie Blue is executive produced by award-winning Tassie Cameron (“Flashpoint”), Russ Cochrane (“The Listener”), Ilana Frank (“The Eleventh Hour,” “Would Be Kings”), David Wellington (“The Eleventh Hour,” “Would Be Kings”) and John Morayniss (“Hell on Wheels” and “Haven”). “Rookie Blue” is a production of IFC Films and leading indie studio eOne, who also distributes the series internationally.
