‘Restaurant Impossible’ Episode Guide (Aug. 27): Uncle Andy’s Diner

“No Laughing Matter” (08/27/14) – Chef Robert Irvine heads to Uncle Andy’s Diner in Portland, ME where he meets Dennis, a restaurant owner by day and stand-up comedian by night.

However, Robert is frustrated when he learns that Dennis spends more time telling jokes to customers than paying attention to food quality. His newfound success in comedy is not only negatively effecting his business, but is also putting a strain on his relationship with his family. Can Robert help turn around the family business?

Turning around a failing restaurant is a daunting challenge under the best of circumstances. Attempting to do it in just two days with only $10,000 may be impossible. But Chef Robert Irvine is ready to take on the challenge. He’ll channel MacGyver and use a lot of muscle to rescue these desperate places from complete collapse.

Can one man, in two days, with just $10,000, turn the tide of a failing restaurant and pave the road to a successful future? Find out as Robert Irvine takes on “Restaurant: Impossible.”

“Restaurant Impossible” is produced by Marc Summers and Shooters TV.
