‘NCIS: New Orleans’ Episode Guide (Oct. 17): A Copycat Murder of an Unsolved Case From 150 Years Ago Investigated

“Dead Man Calling” (10/17/17) – The NCIS team investigates the copycat murder of an unsolved case from 150 years ago that spawned a legendary New Orleans ghost story. Also, Gregorio is spooked when the case is connected to a recent séance and a local medium, on “NCIS: New Orleans,” Tuesday, Oct. 17 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Guest starring in this episode are Will Brill (Otis), Caroline Rose Kaplan (Brady), Jessica Frances Dukes (Scary Mary), Edward Watts (Tate Prescott), Kathryn Campany (Tessa Edgar Prescott), and Brian Distance (Uniformed Cop).

“Dead Man Calling” was written by Christopher Silber and directed by Tony Wharmby.

CBS’s “NCIS: New Orleans” is a drama about the local field office that investigates criminal cases involving military personnel in The Big Easy, a city known for its music, entertainment and decadence. Leading the team is Special Agent Dwayne Pride, a.k.a. “King,” a native of New Orleans who is driven by his need to do what is right.

Working with Pride is his longtime friend and colleague Special Agent Christopher Lasalle, who plays hard but works harder; tough and acerbic Special Agent Tammy Gregorio, a former FBI Agent who was sent to New Orleans to investigate NCIS and upon completion joined Pride’s team; former ATF agent Sonja Percy, who is still adjusting after years of solo undercover assignments; and Forensic Agent Sebastian Lund, a brilliant scientist who left the lab and after much training become an agent.

Supporting them is coroner Dr. Loretta Wade, who is as eccentric as she is smart and Investigative Computer Specialist Patton Plame, an animated and talented hacker. This colorful city that harbors a dark side is a magnet for service personnel on leave, and when overindulgence is followed by trouble, Pride’s team is at its best.

“NCIS: New Orleans” stars Scott Bakula (Special Agent Dwayne Pride), Lucas Black (Special Agent Christopher Lasalle), Rob Kerkovich (Forensic Agent Sebastian Lund), Daryl “Chill” Mitchell (Patton Plame), Shalita Grant (Special Agent Sonja Percy), Vanessa Ferlito (Special Agent Tammy Gregorio) and CCH Pounder (Dr. Loretta Wade).

“NCIS: New Orleans” is produced by CBS Television Studios and was created by Gary Glasberg. Brad Kern, James Hayman, Christopher Silber and Mark Harmon all serve as executive producers. The series was created by Gary Glasberg.
