‘NCIS: New Orleans’ Episode Guide (April 5): A Navy Lieutenant Murdered During a Funeral Procession

“Second Line” (04/05/16) – The NCIS team investigates the murder of a Navy Lieutenant during a French Quarter second line funeral procession, a New Orleans tradition that celebrates the recently deceased with a musical street parade, on “NCIS: New Orleans,” Tuesday, April 5 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network.

Guest starring in this episode are Gary Basaraba (Dr. Steven Bellamy), Darri Ingolfsson (Karl Baptiste), Bert Belasco (Alexander Hanson), Devyn Tyler (Amelia Boyd), Davin Smith (Navy Reservist James Boyd), Silas Cooper (Commander Jim Caron), Kate Adair (Josie), and Chauncey Slack (Male Family Member).

“Second Line” was written by Nancylee Myatt and directed by Tony Wharmby.

“NCIS: New Orleans” is a drama about the local field office that investigates criminal cases involving military personnel in The Big Easy, a city known for its music, entertainment and decadence. Leading the team is Special Agent Dwayne Pride, aka “King,” a native of New Orleans who is driven by his need to do what is right.

Working with Pride is Special Agent Christopher LaSalle, who plays hard but works harder; and Special Agent Meredith “Merri” Brody, a charismatic and tough interrogator who transferred from the Great Lakes office in search of a fresh start. Supporting them is coroner Dr. Loretta Wade, who is as eccentric as she is smart. This colorful city that harbors a dark side is a magnet for service personnel on leave, and when overindulgence is followed by trouble, Pride’s team is at its best.

“NCIS: New Orleans” stars Scott Bakula (NCIS Special Agent Dwayne Pride), Lucas Black (NCIS Special Agent Christopher LaSalle), Zoe McLellan (Special Agent Meredith “Merri” Brody), CCH Pounder (Dr. Loretta Wade) and Rob Kerkovich (Forensic Scientist Sebastian Lund).

“NCIS: New Orleans” is produced by CBS Television Studios and was created by Gary Glasberg. Gary Glasberg, Mark Harmon, Jeffrey Lieber and James Hayman all serve as executive producers.
