‘MasterChef Junior’ Episode Guide (March 30): Six Kids Get a Second Chance

“Junior Edition: Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner” (03/30/17) – In this week’s episode of “MasterChef,” guest judge Richard Blais enters the kitchen once again, but not to judge the remaining 10 junior home cooks.

There’s a big surprise in the MASTERCHEF kitchen, as the judges bring back the six kids who have gone home, to give them another shot at reentering the competition! The six junior home cooks will participate in two challenges that involve breaking apart a chicken and then using the parts to make unique dishes.

Then, it’s up to the judges to decide which two kids will be able to reenter the competition in an all-new episode of “MasterChef Junior” airing Thursday, March 30 (8:00-9:01 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

After a nationwide search, 40 of the best junior home cooks in the country will compete in the “MasterChef Junior” kitchen, where they will face exciting challenges, such as a beach club pop-up restaurant, and surprise celebrity guests and diners, including world-renowned chef Wolfgang Puck and the return of the Muppets.

One talented kid will be named America’s newest “MasterChef Junior,” and take home the “MasterChef Junior” trophy and $100,000 grand prize.

“MasterChef Junior” is produced by Endemol Shine North America and One Potato Two Potato, and is based on a format created by Franc Roddam and Endemol Shine. Elisabeth Murdoch, Eden Gaha, Robin Ashbrook, Gordon Ramsay, Adeline Ramage Rooney, Patricia Llewellyn and Ben Adler serve as executive producers.
