‘MasterChef Junior’ Episode Guide (April 6): America’s Girl and Boy Scouts Served

“Junior Edition: Scouts Honor” (04/06/17) – The Top 12 junior home cooks take their talents to the great outdoors, where they will cook for America’s Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. For the first challenge, the kids are split into two teams and have to prepare and serve all scouts and troop leaders a dish that includes a pork chop entrée and two sides.

The winning team moves on and the losing team heads back to the kitchen for a pressure test, during which they each must make a box of macaroons. Then, it’s up to the judges to decide which two kids will go home in an all-new episode of “MasterChef Junior” airing Thursday, April 6 (8:00-9:01 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

After a nationwide search, 40 of the best junior home cooks in the country will compete in the “MasterChef Junior” kitchen, where they will face exciting challenges, such as a beach club pop-up restaurant, and surprise celebrity guests and diners, including world-renowned chef Wolfgang Puck and the return of the Muppets.

One talented kid will be named America’s newest “MasterChef Junior,” and take home the “MasterChef Junior” trophy and $100,000 grand prize.

“MasterChef Junior” is produced by Endemol Shine North America and One Potato Two Potato, and is based on a format created by Franc Roddam and Endemol Shine. Elisabeth Murdoch, Eden Gaha, Robin Ashbrook, Gordon Ramsay, Adeline Ramage Rooney, Patricia Llewellyn and Ben Adler serve as executive producers.
