‘Marlon’ Episode Guide (Sept. 13): Marlon and Ashley Rehash Their First Date

“Appropriate Marlon” (09/13/17; 9:01-9:30PM) – Marlon (Marlon Wayans) believes he can act appropriately to help Ashley (Essence Atkins) get into an exclusive social club that prefers couples. Yvette (Bresha Webb) is shocked to learn that Stevie (Diallo Riddle) fits in perfectly among the bourgeois clientele at the club.

“End of the Road” Season 1 Finale (09/13/17; 9:30-10:00PM) – The first wedding anniversary since their divorce leads Marlon (Marlon Wayans) and Ashley (Essence Atkins) to rehash the details of their first date. They each have very different recollections of how it went down.

Loosely inspired by the real life of star Marlon Wayans (“In Living Color,” “Scary Movie”), NBC’s “Marlon” is an update to the classic family comedy and centers on a loving (but sometimes inappropriate) father committed to co-parenting his two kids with his very-together ex-wife. While his misguided fatherly advice, unstoppable larger-than-life personality and unpredictable Internet superstardom might get in the way sometimes, for Marlon family really always does come first — even if he’s the biggest kid of all.

The cast includes Marlon Wayans, Essence Atkins, Notlim Taylor, Amir O’Neil, Bresha Webb and Diallo Riddle

Christopher Moynihan serves as writer and executive producer. Marlon Wayans, Rick Alvarez, Michael Rotenberg and director Andy Ackerman (pilot) also executive produce. “Marlon” is produced by Universal Television, Wayans Brothers Entertainment, Bicycle Path Productions and 3 Arts Entertainment.
