‘Madam Secretary’ Episode Guide (March 26): A Possible Mole Arrested

“Convergence” (03/26/17) – When a computer sting uncovers the possible mole in the CIA arms smuggling ring, Elizabeth’s questioning of the suspect makes her think that a larger, more dangerous force is behind the operation.

Also, Henry worries that the doomsday cult is drugging his embedded operative, and Elizabeth and her State Department staff come up with an unorthodox approach to solving black rhino poaching in Namibia, on “Madam Secretary,” Sunday, March 26 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Enrico Colantoni guest stars as Jim Fox, the arms smuggling suspect’s attorney.

Guest starring in this episode are Mike Pnieweski (Gordon Becker), Michael Gaston (CIA Director Hugh Haymond), Jordan Lage (General Kohl), Michael Boatman (FBI Director Keith Doherty), John Bolton (Attorney General Nolan), Arian Moayed (Mohammed “Mo” Alwash), Darren Pettie (Ian Conroy), Matt Meinsen (DS Agent Matt), Michael Mulheren (Barry Milken), Enrico Colantoni (Jim Fox), Carmen M. Herlihy (Gwen White), Ron Nakahara (Ambassador Nguyen Dang), Tom Patrick Stephens (Team Leader), Will Cobbs (DS Officer), Bowman Wright (FBI Agent #1), Gregory Jones (FBI Agent Owen Wendt), Andy Lucien (Reporter #1), Joey Parsons (Reporter #2), Grayson Powell (Militia Man #1), and Ryan Andes (Militia Man #2).

“Convergence” was written by Alexander Maggio and directed by James Whitmore.

“Madam Secretary” stars Téa Leoni as Elizabeth McCord, the shrewd, determined Secretary of State who drives international diplomacy, battles office politics and circumvents protocol as she negotiates global and domestic issues, both at the White House and at home.

A college professor and a brilliant former CIA analyst who left for ethical reasons, Elizabeth returned to public life at the request of President Conrad Dalton, who values McCord’s apolitical leanings, her deep knowledge of the Middle East, her flair for languages and her ability to not just think outside the box, but to not even acknowledge there is a box.

McCord’s team includes her Chief of Staff Nadine Tolliver, policy advisor Jay Whitman, speechwriter Matt Mahoney, press coordinator Daisy Grant and her charming assistant, Blake Moran. As McCord debates third world problems, finesses foreign dignitaries at work and does battle with the President’s combative Chief of Staff Russell Jackson, that’s just a warm-up for when she goes home to her supportive husband, theology professor-turned-intelligence operative Henry, and their three children, where “politics” and “compromise” take on new meaning.
