‘MacGyver’ Episode Guide (Sept. 29): The Team Searches for a Navy SEAL in the Middle East

“DIY or DIE” Season 2 Premiere (09/29/17) – Using a cell phone and soccer ball, MacGyver and the team search for a Navy SEAL who is believed to be alive in captivity in the Middle East, on the second season premiere of “MacGyver,” Friday, Sept. 29 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

“DIY or DIE” was written by Executive Producers Peter Lenkov, Craig O’Neill and David Slack. It was directed by Stephen Herek.

“MacGyver,” a reimagining of the classic series, is an action-adventure drama about 20-something Angus “Mac” MacGyver, who creates a clandestine organization within the U.S. government where he uses his extraordinary talent for unconventional problem solving and vast scientific knowledge to save lives.

Joining his team on high-risk missions around the globe is maverick former CIA agent Jack Dalton; Riley Davis, an unpredictable computer hacker with a chip on her shoulder; Wilt Bozer, Mac’s roommate and the newest agent on the team; and Matty Weber, a legend in Covert Ops, and the new Director of Operations at the Phoenix Foundation. Under the aegis of the Department of External Services, MacGyver takes on the responsibility of saving the world, armed to the teeth with resourcefulness and little more than bubble gum and a paper clip.

“MacGyver” stars Lucas Till (Angus “Mac” MacGyver), George Eads (Jack Dalton), Justin Hires (Wilt Bozer), Tristin Mays (Riley Davis), and Meredith Eaton (Matty Webber).

“MacGyver” is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Lionsgate. It is executive produced by Peter Lenkov, Craig O’Neill, James Wan, Henry Winkler, Lee Zlotoff, David Slack, and Michael Clear.
