‘MacGyver’ Episode Guide (Jan. 19): The Team Tracks Down a New Orleans Con Artist

“Mardi Gras Beads + Chair” (01/19/18) – When the team heads to New Orleans to track down the con artist (Amy Smart) who is posing as the wife of “Duke Jacoby,” one of Jack’s old CIA aliases, Jack finds himself in jeopardy when “Duke’s” old enemies resurface looking for revenge, on “MacGyver,” Friday, Jan. 19 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Garrett Morris guest stars as Willy, Jack’s former confidential informant in New Orleans.

Also guest starring in this episode are Amy Smart (Dixie/Dawn), Jonny Coyne (Raymond), Edwin Walker (Bartender), Jeffrey David Anderson (Guilherme Barbosa), Benjamin Wood (Joao Barbosa), and Anthony Belevtsov (Enforcer).

The teleplay for “Mardi Gras Beads + Chair” was written by Marqui Jackson and Andrew Karlsruher. It was directed by Mike Martinez.

“MacGyver,” a reimagining of the classic series, is an action-adventure drama about 20-something Angus “Mac” MacGyver, who creates a clandestine organization within the U.S. government where he uses his extraordinary talent for unconventional problem solving and vast scientific knowledge to save lives.

Joining his team on high-risk missions around the globe is maverick former CIA agent Jack Dalton; Riley Davis, an unpredictable computer hacker with a chip on her shoulder; Wilt Bozer, Mac’s roommate and the newest agent on the team; and Matty Weber, a legend in Covert Ops, and the new Director of Operations at the Phoenix Foundation. Under the aegis of the Department of External Services, MacGyver takes on the responsibility of saving the world, armed to the teeth with resourcefulness and little more than bubble gum and a paper clip.

“MacGyver” stars Lucas Till (Angus “Mac” MacGyver), George Eads (Jack Dalton), Justin Hires (Wilt Bozer), Tristin Mays (Riley Davis), and Meredith Eaton (Matty Webber).

“MacGyver” is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Lionsgate. It is executive produced by Peter Lenkov, Craig O’Neill, James Wan, Henry Winkler, Lee Zlotoff, David Slack, and Michael Clear.
