‘MacGyver’ Episode Guide (Jan. 12): Jack Attends His High School Reunion

“CO2 Sensor + Tree Branch” (01/12/18) – While Mac participates in a challenge for government operatives to create robotic combat machines, Mac must help his biggest competitor, Allie (Ashley Tisdale), when her vehicle is hacked and heads to the Pentagon.

Also, Jack attends his high school reunion, hoping for a showdown with his old rival who beat him out for homecoming king, on “MacGyver,” Friday, Jan. 12 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Ashley Tisdale guest stars as Allie, a CIA operative, Mac’s former fling and his biggest competitor in the Challenge.

Also guest starring in this episode are Kate Bond (Jill), Eddie McClintock (Jimmy), Jane Rumbaua (Tina Pham), Fidelus Singleton (Oscar), Kevin Patrick Murphy (Martin Chapman), Juan Piedrahita (Bellman), Michael Rubino (Ahmed), Brian Brightman (Official), Thom Scott II (Blake), Dominique Mari (Bride), and Phillip Mullings Jr. (Groom).

The teleplay for “CO2 Sensor + Tree Branch” was written by Adam Beechen and directed by Brad Turner.

“MacGyver,” a reimagining of the classic series, is an action-adventure drama about 20-something Angus “Mac” MacGyver, who creates a clandestine organization within the U.S. government where he uses his extraordinary talent for unconventional problem solving and vast scientific knowledge to save lives.

Joining his team on high-risk missions around the globe is maverick former CIA agent Jack Dalton; Riley Davis, an unpredictable computer hacker with a chip on her shoulder; Wilt Bozer, Mac’s roommate and the newest agent on the team; and Matty Weber, a legend in Covert Ops, and the new Director of Operations at the Phoenix Foundation. Under the aegis of the Department of External Services, MacGyver takes on the responsibility of saving the world, armed to the teeth with resourcefulness and little more than bubble gum and a paper clip.

“MacGyver” stars Lucas Till (Angus “Mac” MacGyver), George Eads (Jack Dalton), Justin Hires (Wilt Bozer), Tristin Mays (Riley Davis), and Meredith Eaton (Matty Webber).
