‘LIVE with Kelly and Michael’ Episode Guide (Oct. 23): Kate Hudson; Kat Dennings

On today’s all-new episode of the syndicated “LIVE with Kelly and Michael,” actress Kate Hudson opens up about starring alongside Bill Murray in the comedy film “Rock the Kasbah,” which hits theaters this weekend.

Then, actress Kat Dennings previews the upcoming fifth season of the CBS comedy series “2 Broke Girls.”

And later, “LIVE’s Superstar Chef Challenge” series concludes with chef Eric Ripert showing at-home viewers how to whip up a treat for fall.

Currently in her 14th year with the show, Ripa took the lead on “LIVE” during the search for a new co-host. Fifty-nine different men and women shared the co-host desk over a nine month period. During that time, she helped to build the show’s key demo ratings and kept the momentum going until a new host was named. On September 4, 2012, Michael Strahan was named the permanent co-host of the newly-rechristened show after an extensive search encompassing more than nine months.

“LIVE with Kelly and Michael” is distributed in national syndication by Disney-ABC Domestic Television. Produced by WABC-TV in New York and executive produced by Michael Gelman, “LIVE” airs in more than 200 markets across the U.S.

Michael Gelman, who is often an on-air personality, executive produces the longrunning talker. To watch the syndicated “LIVE with Kelly and Michael,” be sure to check your listings for the time period it airs in your local market.
