‘Hell’s Kitchen’ Episode Guide (Oct. 7): Winners Go Zip-Lining in Big Bear

“The Yolks on Them” (10/07/16) – With tensions running high in the house, the chefs must set aside their feelings and prepare for their next challenge.

This week, Gordon greets the chefs with a surprising selection of meat as each team will need to prepare eight unique dishes using a selection of ostrich cuts.

The rest of their ingredients will be selected as the contestants take turns breaking through giant ostrich eggs to collect as many ingredients as they can in just four minutes. Gordon has recruited special guest judges, David McMillan and Frederic Morin, the chefs/owners of Joe Beef, to help critique this week’s challenge. The winning team will be jetted off to Big Bear for a zip lining excursion in the mountains.

Meanwhile, the losing team has no choice but to face the tedious job of plucking pine nuts out of pinecones and cleaning the kitchen. Later during the dinner service, find out which chefs can’t handle the pressure in an all-new episode of “Hell’s Kitchen” airing Friday, Oct. 7 (8:00-9:01 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Season 16 of “Hell’s Kitchen” will welcome a new batch of 18 ambitious chefs who will brave Chef Gordon Ramsay and his fiery command of the kitchen as he puts them through an intense culinary academy. Throughout the season, the competitors will face a series of Ramsay’s grueling challenges to prove they possess the right combination of ingredients to win a life-changing grand prize.

The chefs will leave the pleasantries at the door as the pressure to impress Chef Ramsay will reach a boiling point. The contestants must prove their ability to work in teams before Chef Ramsay determines which chefs are worthy of a black jacket. The rewards for winners of upcoming challenges will be luxurious and extravagant, while the punishments will be grueling.

As the competition progresses, contestants will be eliminated until only two chefs are left to compete for the ultimate prize, a Head Chef position at Yardbird Southern Table & Bar at The Venetian Las Vegas, and fulfill their dreams of working in the culinary industry as the winner of “Hell’s Kitchen.”

“Hell’s Kitchen” is produced by ITV Entertainment in association with A. Smith & Co. Productions, Inc. Arthur Smith, Kent Weed and Gordon Ramsay serve as executive producers.
