‘Hell’s Kitchen’ Episode Guide (Jan. 26): The Contestants Craft a Dining Experience for Reputable Chefs

“Tequila Shots?” (01/26/17) – After two chefs are eliminated, the remaining contestants must create a unique dining experience for a large group of well-known chefs that include guest judges Bruce Kalman (executive chef and owner of Union), Steve Samson (chef and owner of Sotto), Mette Williams (executive chef of Culina) and Alessio Biagini (chef de cusine at Cecconi’s).

The winner of this challenge is taken on a helicopter tour of Los Angeles with Chef Andi and is treated to a delicious lunch at Firefly with Chef Ramsay. The losing chefs on the other hand, are forced to wrap presents for the Hell’s Kitchen staff, steam their clothes and polish their shoes.

At the dinner service, actress Tara Reid (“Sharknado”), pro baseball player Adrian Gonzalez, actor Matt Letscher (“Her,” “The Carrie Diaries”) and TV personality Taylor Ann Hasselhoff join as guest diners, and each chef is given the opportunity to run the pass, while Chef Andi and Chef Aaron surreptitiously try to sabotage them in an all-new episode of “Hell’s Kitchen” airing Thursday, Jan. 26 (8:00-9:01 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Season 16 of “Hell’s Kitchen” will welcome a new batch of 18 ambitious chefs who will brave Chef Gordon Ramsay and his fiery command of the kitchen as he puts them through an intense culinary academy. Throughout the season, the competitors will face a series of Ramsay’s grueling challenges to prove they possess the right combination of ingredients to win a life-changing grand prize.

The chefs will leave the pleasantries at the door as the pressure to impress Chef Ramsay will reach a boiling point. The contestants must prove their ability to work in teams before Chef Ramsay determines which chefs are worthy of a black jacket. The rewards for winners of upcoming challenges will be luxurious and extravagant, while the punishments will be grueling.

As the competition progresses, contestants will be eliminated until only two chefs are left to compete for the ultimate prize, a Head Chef position at Yardbird Southern Table & Bar at The Venetian Las Vegas, and fulfill their dreams of working in the culinary industry as the winner of “Hell’s Kitchen.”

“Hell’s Kitchen” is produced by ITV Entertainment in association with A. Smith & Co. Productions, Inc. Arthur Smith, Kent Weed and Gordon Ramsay serve as executive producers.
