‘Hell’s Kitchen’ Episode Guide (Oct. 14): The Chefs Participate in a Surf & Turf Protein Relay

“Surf Riding & Turf Fighting” (10/14/16) – Chef Ramsay introduces the contestants to the latest challenge – a Surf & Turf protein relay. As the teams struggle to identify their proteins, they must work together in pairs to succeed in the challenge.

The winning team will spend the day surfing at the Wavehouse in San Diego, CA, while the losing team will find themselves spending the day making sausages from scratch. Later, during the dinner service, Ramsay informs the teams that tonight they will need to cook with extra confidence because they will be welcoming a VIP 12-top.

Find out which chefs will impress Ramsay in an all-new episode of “Hell’s Kitchen” airing Friday, Oct. 14 (8:00-9:01 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Season 16 of “Hell’s Kitchen” will welcome a new batch of 18 ambitious chefs who will brave Chef Gordon Ramsay and his fiery command of the kitchen as he puts them through an intense culinary academy. Throughout the season, the competitors will face a series of Ramsay’s grueling challenges to prove they possess the right combination of ingredients to win a life-changing grand prize.

The chefs will leave the pleasantries at the door as the pressure to impress Chef Ramsay will reach a boiling point. The contestants must prove their ability to work in teams before Chef Ramsay determines which chefs are worthy of a black jacket. The rewards for winners of upcoming challenges will be luxurious and extravagant, while the punishments will be grueling.

As the competition progresses, contestants will be eliminated until only two chefs are left to compete for the ultimate prize, a Head Chef position at Yardbird Southern Table & Bar at The Venetian Las Vegas, and fulfill their dreams of working in the culinary industry as the winner of “Hell’s Kitchen.”

“Hell’s Kitchen” is produced by ITV Entertainment in association with A. Smith & Co. Productions, Inc. Arthur Smith, Kent Weed and Gordon Ramsay serve as executive producers.
