‘Guilt’ Episode Guide (July 18): Grace is Rescued by a Stranger

“The Eye of the Needle” (07/18/16) – A weary Grace spends the night at the police station, only to be accosted by paparazzi when she tries to leave. As the situation turns ugly, a stranger comes to her rescue.

After agreeing to go off with the Good Samaritan, she begins to suspect that he has darker intentions. When Natalie realizes Grace is gone, she and Detective Bruno frantically search the city, hoping to find her sister before it’s too late.

Meanwhile, Patrick goes undercover at The Courtenay, a posh sex club, to get to the bottom of his sister’s double life and find her killer.

“The Eye of the Needle” was written by Todd Slavkin & Darren Swimmer and directed by Elizabeth Allen Rosenbaum.

The definition of guilt is being responsible for wrongdoing or a crime. In the murder of Molly Ryan, many are guilty in different ways, but only one is truly guilty of her murder. When Natalie’s sister Grace becomes the prime suspect in her roommate Molly’s murder and a popular target for the press and in social media, Natalie leaves her life in Boston and heads to London to defend her.

With the help of an ethically questionable ex-pat lawyer Stan Gutterie, Natalie starts to question how innocent her sister may really be as more ugly truths start to emerge. In this one-hour soapy drama, the mystery will twist through all layers of London society – from a posh but depraved sex club and all the way up to the Royal Family itself.

“Guilt” stars Billy Zane (“Titanic”) as Stan Gutterie, Daisy Head (“The Syndicate”) as Grace Atwood, Emily Tremaine (“Vinyl”) as Natalie Atwood, Cristian Solimeno (“Rush”) as Detective Sergeant Alex Bruno, Naomi Ryan (“Guardians of the Galaxy”) as Gwendolyn Hall, Kevin Ryan (“Copper”) as Patrick Ryan, Simona Brown (“The Casual Vacancy”) as Roz Walters, Zachary Fall (“Crossing Lines”) as Luc Pascal and newcomer Sam Cassidy as Prince Theo.

The series is written, created and executive-produced by Kathryn Price (“The Game Plan”) and Nichole Millard (“The Game Plan”). Todd Slavkin (“Defiance”) and Darren Swimmer (“Defiance”) serve as writing executive producers. Stephen McPherson serves as executive producer with Gary Fleder (“Kingdom,” “Scorpion”) and Larry Shaw (“Desperate Housewives”) as executive producer directors.

“Guilt” is a co-production of Sea to Sky Entertainment, the joint venture between Lionsgate Television and Thunderbird Films, and BV Family Productions, in association with Freeform.
