“Gabby Goose” (03/07/17) – The Huangs host couples game night, and Jessica’s ultra-competitive nature is on full display. Louis, by way of Honey, works up the courage to confront Jessica about being a sore loser, and she surprisingly accepts his criticism without incident.

But when she learns that he discussed their private life to people outside of their family, she becomes very upset and makes plans to retaliate.

Meanwhile, Emery and Evan help Eddie grieve the unexpected, sudden death of rapper Notorious B.I.G., on an all-new episode of ABC’s “Fresh Off the Boat,” airing on TUESDAY, MARCH 7 (9:00-9:30 p.m. EST).

Guest starring in this episode are Rachel Cannon as Deidre, Stacey Scowley as Carol-Joan, Isabella Crouch as Alison, Prophet Bolden as Walter, Trevor Larcom as Trent, Dash Williams as Brian, Evan Hannemann as Barefoot Dave, James Roberts as Ed Lover, Matt Besser as Richard and Dylan Lau as Five-Year Old Louis.

“Gabby Goose” was written by Jeff Chiang and directed by Alisa Statman.

Set in the mid-‘90s, 11-year-old hip-hop loving Eddie Huang (Hudson Yang) and his family are adjusting to their new lives in suburban Orlando. New schools, new friends, new neighbors…new traditions, yet still maintaining true to their family values and their continual pursuit of the American Dream.

Dad, Louis (Randall Park), moved his family from Chinatown in Washington D.C. and turned the once struggling “Cattleman’s Ranch” into a successful steakhouse fully equipped with a mechanical bull. Mom, Jessica (Constance Wu), has found her own success as a real-estate agent yet still finds time to shop the bargain bin for back to school clothes and bond with next door neighbor Honey (Chelsey Crisp) over cocktails and Stephen King novels.

Meanwhile, Eddie is growing up and becoming more independent, sometimes defying his overbearing mother’s old-school parenting style, but eventually realizes that she’s got nothing but love for him and his brothers. Emery (Forrest Wheeler), the middle child and hopeless romantic, has no problem with the ladies, including the rollerblading stay-at-home moms in the neighborhood and often conspires with baby brother Evan (Ian Chen), the mama’s boy.

Inspired by a true story, “Fresh Off the Boat” stars Randall Park as Louis, Constance Wu as Jessica, Hudson Yang as Eddie, Forrest Wheeler as Emery, Ian Chen as Evan and Chelsey Crisp as Honey.

“Fresh Off the Boat” was written by Nahnatchka Khan, who also serves as executive producer. Jake Kasdan and Melvin Mar are executive producers. The series is produced by 20th Century Fox Television.
