Craig Ferguson, Drew Carey To Swap Jobs On April Fools’ Day

Craig Ferguson and Drew Carey have some April Fools’ Day fun when they prank viewers by swapping places with each other as hosts of “The Price is Right” and “The Late Late Show”. “The Late Late Show” hosted by Drew Carey will air Tuesday, April 1 (12:37 – 1:37 AM, ET/PT); “The Price is Right” hosted by Craig Ferguson will air Tuesday, April 1 (11:00 AM-12:00 Noon, ET; 10:00-11:00 AM, PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Last night on the Monday, March 17 episode of “The Late Late Show,” Carey and Ferguson announced their April Fools’ Day prank. “Hey, Craig Ferguson and I, for April Fools’, are switching jobs. He’s going to host ‘The Price is Right’ and I’m gonna host “‘he Late Late Show,’” said Carey. Ferguson added, “Now this is for April Fools,’ so don’t tell anyone!”

As host of “The Late Late Show,” Carey will interview comedy legend Carl Reiner, Pulitzer Prize-winning writer and fellow Clevelander Connie Schultz, and rocker Joan Jett, who will also perform “Any Weather” with The Blackhearts. Announcer George Gray and the iconic models of “The Price is Right,” Rachel Reynolds, Amber Lancaster and Manuela Arbeláez, will join Carey on “The Late Late Show”.

Ferguson will be just the fourth person ever to host the legendary game show for the Network (in addition to Carey, Bob Barker and Dennis James). Ferguson’s robot skeleton sidekick, Geoff Peterson, and pantomime horse, Secretariat, will join him as the gorgeous models on the Daytime Emmy Award-winning game show “The Price is Right”.

“The Late Late Show” with Craig Ferguson airs weeknights (12:37-1:37 AM, ET/PT) following the “Late Show with David Letterman” on the CBS Television Network. “The Late Late Show” is executive produced by Peter Lassally and is a 2009 Peabody Award recipient.

“The Price is Right” is hosted by Drew Carey. Produced by FremantleMedia North America, “The Price is Right” is broadcast weekdays (11:00 AM-12:00 Noon, ET; 10:00-11:00 AM, PT) on the CBS Television Network. Mike Richards and Jennifer Mullin are the executive producers.
